About The Position
Process inedible materials through rendering.
Requirements
- Meat processing or other manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions.
- Ability to work in a diverse workforce, maintain effective working relationships with peers and management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor operating systems
- Perform periodic product audits and visual machinery inspections
- Basic machinery upkeep and clean in place (CIP)
- Ensure all products produced follow approved specifications
- Ability to meet production quota (pull count) as outlined in the functional job analysis
- Must be licensed and certified in Lock Out/ Tag Out, Confined Space, and Fall Protection
- Adhere to all safety procedures and utilize proper personal equipment
- May be assigned other tasks by supervisor if production necessitates
