About The Position

Primary Systems/Shipping/Receiving Coordinator. Lead the Receiving Office and manage DC associates to support Receiving and supply production. Responsible for Cross Town activities from Buffer and Outside Storage (OSS) locations. Manage and monitor task queues to ensure timely completion of all DC/inventory activities. Responsible for all shift activities in the operation of the Receiving Office and DC Supply Team.

Requirements

  • Basic math, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks (people and systems)
  • Indoor Office, Outdoor Trailer Seal process and Floor Operations in a Ambient/Refrigerated Warehouse.
  • Intermediate to advance P.C./Mainframe/Software skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn Matrics, SAP, , SMART, Power Designer, WTO and all related systems activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
  • Self-starter, completes tasks with minimal direction
  • Must work well in a Team Based environment.
  • Develops professional rapport with team members and associates outside of department.
  • Ability to work cohesively with all levels of Management.
  • Ability to give direction to peers/associates in a self-directed environment (supervisory skills).

  • Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead; lifts, carries, pushes, routinely pulls and moves up to 70 pounds; holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity vital to operate equipment

Responsibilities

  • Recordkeeping/Receiving/Shipping as required on paper, computer, and other systems.
  • Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Relieves other personnel as needed.
  • Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
  • Must be Fork Truck Certified.
  • Coordinates and prioritizes warehouse activities.
  • Leads team of DC associates with job assignments.
  • Lead/involved with DC improvement initiatives/projects.
  • Monitor storage capacity in assigned areas.
  • Create load plans to support RPW orders from OSS
  • Coordinates drop lot and door management activities.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Assist Training Coordinator with updates and development of training documents, as well as the OJT of DC associates.
  • Point of contact for OTR and local drivers to verify and provide all necessary paperwork.
  • Coordination and communication of required trailer movements to jockeys.
  • Print and process all related paperwork to ensure compliance of corporate transportation policies.
  • Perform security check (seal condition/application) on all incoming and departing trucks (during shift hours).
  • Maintain Transportation information and perform load planning.
  • Works as a team with material schedulers in providing and applying consistent methods for receiving and tracking inventory of packaging supplies and ingredients to enhance overall performance of Business Units and the facility
  • Maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing packaging supplies and ingredients in the SAP system.
  • Files, copies, faxes, keep organized all information pertaining to shipping and receiving activities.
  • Prepares shipping documents (Bills of Lading, IDT) for outbound.
  • Works with appropriate accounting personnel to report and track deliveries
  • Tracks, compiles, reports on all DC operations K.P.I's (requires development of tracking tools, e.g. spreadsheets, charts, presentations, etc.).
  • Responsible for setting carrier appointment times to deliver ingredients, packaging supplies and cheese.
  • Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
  • Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.
