Responsibilities

  • Technical expert for quality related equipment in the Quality Test area and Production Floor – understand & ability to fix, communicate with external sources if needed and train operation team member.
  • Maintain QA Area test equipment such as snap gages, BWC chamber, etc. Do first level troubleshooting and repairs when issues arise. Work with Maintenance on any higher-level issues. Send out equipment for repairs as needed.
  • Manage measuring equipment verification/calibration activities with internal and external resources. Assure that all equipment is verified, calibrated and functional in accordance with established procedures. Manage replacement activities for out of calibration equipment.
  • Key contact for quality related activities in the Product Performance Test Area
  • Support corrective action activities regarding containment, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action.
  • Lead small quality related projects from planning to implementation.
  • Support and lead non-conformance report investigation and closure.
  • Support measuring requests and solid understanding of standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, automated gauging.
  • Serve as an internal quality auditor – training will be provided.
  • Oversee the monitoring of inventory levels and ordering of key supplies used by the QA and MVI areas.
