About The Position

The Prospective Group (TPG) is looking for a The Quality Assurance Lead who will provide an independent evaluation of systems development projects and activities, identify areas of project deficiency and risk, and ultimately identify and recommend solutions to those risks and deficiency areas. Requirements

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience conducting IV&V services to include evaluating a project objectively and completely.
  • Ability to evaluate implementation of processes and activities that span the SDLC, including, but not limited to, evaluating requirements, software, databases, system design, and code to ensure project compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Experience evaluating plans, requirements, tools, and procedures used for unit testing system modules.
  • Ability to evaluate the level of test automation, interactive testing, and interactive debugging available in environments.
  • Ability to provide management with clear guidance and objective visibility into the progress and quality of an IT development effort.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (PMBOK, IEEE, CMMI, etc.) and how they apply to the IT project being reviewed.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the quality of the software throughout the development process and ensure it meets the customer’s requirements.
  • Develop independent test plans and test cases that will validate the development team’s work.
  • Provide regular reports to the Government on the progress of IV&V activities and any issues that arise.
  • Review and make recommendations on both the management and technical aspects of IT projects.
  • Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
  • Ability to present formal and informal oral and written IV&V status briefings to management.
