We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving process optimization, safety, and innovation within our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will support capital project execution, lead process improvement initiatives, and collaborate across departments to enhance plant performance in safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Requirements

  • Outstanding communication skills and able to interact with Corporate Staff groups, hourly plant personnel, as well as staff.

  • Fundamental belief and demonstrated behaviors that safety & compliance is one of the most critical aspects to the Plant Process Engineer’s role.
  • Safety, compliance, and the overall Responsible Care process is supported by the Plant Process Engineer through demonstrating safety leadership; by participation and example.
  • Fluency in English preferred.
  • BS ChE or BS ME, or other applicable technical discipline, minimum.
  • 2 -5 years minimum industrial experience in chemical process environment. ( Depends if hiring a Process Engineer I, II, or III)
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, minimum.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Process Safety Management (PSM) experience is highly desirable .

Responsibilities

  • Support the plant capital process by scoping projects, assisting with equipment/process design, writing startup and operating procedures, and commissioning/start-up of equipment
  • Provide technical assistance in process improvements and provide process engineering studies as required to support plant productivity, quality, and EHS initiatives
  • Provid e leadership and participation o n plant teams to improve productivity, quality , and reduce cost
  • Support all site team activities to achieve the common goal through active participation
  • Willing & capable to lead and/or participate on site teams, as well as corporate teams
  • Facilitate new product/process introductions to the plant
  • Work closely with corporate Process Technology on improvement initiatives
