About The Position

Titan Florida, LLC has an opening for a Plant Operator at its Estero, FL aggregates plant. This wage non-exempt position will report to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

Physically fit to handle lifting 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
Ability to shovel for long periods of time.
Ability to work well with others.
Basic knowledge in equipment operation and quality control.
Safety minded
Must be able to speak, read and write English.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

Inspect work areas with regard to safety and housekeeping and report any deficiencies to supervisor immediately.
Perform minor preventive maintenance operations.
Maintain cleanup of assigned area at all times.
Monitor production of products.
Maintain an open line of communications with the QC Technician to timely and effectively identify issues and alert the plant management team.
Help to ensure production of quality products.
Monitor operation of moving equipment and report mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
Submit daily reports as required.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Assist in all plant maintenance when plant is not producing finished materials:
Changing screens
Changing blow bars in the crushers
Changing rollers, wiper blades, and skirt board rubbers
Changing flights in the screws
Washing with a 1 ½ in water hose or shoveling
Other job duties as assigned.
