Manage and direct all manufacturing activities to ensure completion of customer requirements. Ensure required documentation and/or system transactions are executed to meet customer, manufacturing system, and financial reporting requirements. Provide leadership and commitment in support of continuous improvements in quality, productivity and delivery performance through the deployment of continuous improvement framework (CIF). Support product design organization through new product introduction phase to ensure customer manufacturing delivery times are met. Evaluate operational performance of the group to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, etc. Manage budgets and resource plans, and monitor performance, to achieve product delivery and cost requirements. Coordinate and assist with plant initiatives, participating on teams in order to drive best practices across enterprise. Coordinate with Human Resources to take care of employee relations issues as they arise within production. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production control and/or manufacturing supervision. Minimum of two (2) years of team lead, supervision or people management experience. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Experience in either operations management, supply chain management, continuous improvement and/or manufacturing engineering in an Engineer to Order (ETO) manufacturing environment Experience working with ERP / MRP material systems Position Success Criteria: Ability to interpret and collect data to drive decisions and identify improvements Proficient use of Microsoft Office products Understanding of manufacturing processes, and ability to understand highly technical product designs in order to address production opportunities. Strong leadership and coaching capabilities to influence others to drive for results and accountability Working knowledge of business systems, accounting systems, industrial engineering, and manufacturing operations and processes. Ability to utilize available materials to optimize customer satisfaction in the areas of design, quality, and on-time delivery.
