About The Position

Plant Operations Line Leader Are you the kind of leader who can walk onto a 2nd or 3rd shift production floor, rally a team, and deliver safe, high-quality output with zero drama? If so, this role is your arena. You’ll mentor seasonal and full-time employees, push work orders through the line, and stand in for the supervisor when needed—all while reducing scrap and keeping accuracy on point. The mission Hit daily and monthly targets in safety, quality, accuracy, and production by organizing people and resources, responding fast to issues, and driving continuous improvement. How you’ll win Lead by example: follow all plant safety rules and company policies; maintain a clean, orderly work area. Own the huddle: conduct pre-shift meetings and assign work when the supervisor is away. Move the work: execute and expedite scheduled orders to meet customer requirements. Be the first response: act as First Responder in plant emergencies. Grow the team: assist with training; complete required training paperwork accurately and on time. Improve every day: participate in Lean Transformation and safety initiatives; surface improvement ideas with clear recommendations. Document rigorously: produce accurate production reporting and all necessary paperwork. Support broadly: assist others and take on additional duties as assigned by leadership. Your toolkit Basic machine repair capability. Forklift certification (or ability to earn certification quickly). Measurement mastery: micrometers, dial calipers, height gages, shop gages, depth gages, and dial indicators. Precision focus: maintain tolerances and finishes to engineering/manufacturing specs; strong in-process inspection skills. Math strength: convert metric/English units with confidence; solid foundational math. Safety knowledge: lockout/tagout protocols and unwavering integrity for products and processes. Leadership presence: strong interpersonal communication; build relationships quickly; decisive and team-oriented. Problem-solver: troubleshoot issues effectively and drive resolution in a detailed, fact-based setting. Endurance: sustain a steady work pace for the entire shift; customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency. Nice to have Minimum 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience. First Aid/CPR and Emergency Response training. Pay and benefits Starting at $25.20/hour plus $1.50/hour premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. $3,000 Sign On Bonus. Requirements

  • Basic machine repair capability.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to earn certification quickly).
