About The Position

Revolution is actively seeking a dynamic and driven Plant Manager to lead operations at our Flint, Michigan facility — a small but strategically important site poised for significant growth in the next year. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, get involved on the floor, and be a catalyst for transformation. About the Role: This is a critical leadership position with visibility across the organization and a direct reporting line to senior operations leadership. As Plant Manager, you’ll play a key role in stabilizing and growing the Flint facility, helping drive it toward long-term profitability and operational excellence. We are conducting a nationwide search and are open to relocation for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of proven leadership experience managing teams in a plant or operational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in non-climate-controlled, blue-collar, and/or entrepreneurial or start-up environments.
  • Strong technical or mechanical aptitude — hands-on experience in maintenance, engineering, or operations highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement tools.
  • Experience leading or supporting robust compliance and safety programs.
  • High financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&L statements and make fiscally sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with employees at all levels.
  • Proven success in leading capital projects, driving cost savings, and achieving operational KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.
  • Foster a hands-on leadership culture that promotes accountability, continuous improvement, and team engagement.
  • Be an active presence on the floor — working with equipment, solving problems, and driving improvements alongside your team.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture; investigate incidents and implement preventative measures.
  • Ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards for quality and customer service.
  • Develop and lead capital projects to improve ROI and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, HR, and Finance.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop plant staff; build a performance-driven and empowered workforce.
  • Manage inventory, costs, and overall plant P&L to ensure operational and financial targets are achieved.
  • Lead preventative maintenance and ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
