We are currently seeking a Plant Manager for Little River Academy, Texas. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by assisting with the activities and engaging with staff within a mining environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Plant Manager you will manage all mine personnel, plant operations, safety program, environmental and community relations in accordance with company policy and government agencies. Day-to-Day Ensure compliance with all safety standards, industry’s best practices, and applicable government regulations, including MSHA, TCEQ etc... Manage and oversee natural aggregates operations to safely produce quality aggregate materials while controlling costs, maximizing operational efficiency, and driving profitability. Lead daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of production activities to meet safety, quality, and cost targets. Monitor operational performance using key metrics, including cost per ton, plant uptime, Tons per man hour, and take corrective action as needed. Analyze production data to identify cost-saving and efficiency-improvement opportunities without compromising safety, quality, or regulatory compliance. Supervise, coordinate, and support employees to maintain efficient and safe production workflows. Follow and enforce established operational procedures for conventional production processes. Make sound operational decisions guided by company policies, procedures, and business plans. Demonstrate strong leadership by fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. About You Maintain prompt, regular, and reliable attendance. Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of management experience in natural aggregates operations. Proven experience managing an aggregates operation; mining environment experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of MSHA regulations and demonstrated commitment to workplace safety. Solid understanding of aggregate production equipment and processes. Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, promoting ownership of safety, production, quality, and KPI performance (cost per ton, uptime, Tons per man hour). Strong leadership skills, including effective communication, conflict resolution and employee development Strong financial acumen, communication, and supervisory skills. Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
