Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (Engineering preferred)
  • 10+ years of manufacturing or operations experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
  • Prior plant or operations management experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement environments
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyze performance
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to work effectively at all levels
  • Self‑starter who embraces accountability, innovation, and change

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of plant performance including safety, production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, and operational excellence
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications through strong quality systems and disciplined execution
  • Oversee production planning, labor, materials, inventory, and cost control to consistently meet operational goals
  • Lead and continuously improve plant safety programs and EHS initiatives
  • Act as a visible role model for safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Partner closely with EHS and Quality teams to drive compliance and improvement
  • Lead Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, TPM, value stream mapping, standard work, and inventory reduction
  • Use KPIs and daily management systems to identify trends, solve problems, and improve results
  • Drive root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
  • Develop a skilled, engaged, and motivated workforce through strong performance management, coaching, and recognition
  • Act as a change leader who drives a high‑performance, continuous‑improvement culture
  • Ensure regular feedback, training, and development for all team members
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets
  • Lead capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades
  • Support commercialization efforts, new product introductions, and stage‑gate processes
  • Partner with commercial teams to evaluate new opportunities, risks, and capabilities
