About The Position

Be the operational heartbeat of maintenance We’re looking for a Plant Maintenance Operations Leader to unify safety, people, process, and performance at an ATS customer site. Your impact Safety leadership: Deploy ATS’s safety program; complete training, observations, and investigations; advance Beyond Zero; and model a strong safety partnership with our customer. Strategy into action: Clearly communicate site and company objectives; lead change with positive, consistent messaging; and ensure everyone understands the “why.” People and culture: Onboard personally, hold regular one-on-ones, recognize contributions promptly, promote transparency and participative decision-making, and uphold policies with clarity. Capability building: Maintain a Skills Matrix, drive a Technician Training Plan, and sustain a succession pipeline for Supervisors, Supply Chain, P/S, and RE roles. Operations & financials: Embed the ATS Operating System; execute the ATS-standard maintenance plan; manage revenue, expenses, and profit; and partner across ATS business units. Customer partnership: Serve as primary on-site contact; manage site contracts to align expectations; host daily/weekly/monthly reviews; and expand scope with Sales and Operations. Continuous improvement: Track KPIs, lead RCAs, remove blockers, and deliver measurable cost savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in technical, business, or related field; or 7+ years in operations/maintenance.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience focused on coaching and employee development.
  • Resilient, adaptable multitasker with strong prioritization and change leadership.
  • High EQ leader who builds trust and relationships; strong customer urgency.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/assembly environments and solid business acumen.
  • Ability to relocate as business needs evolve.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing maintenance credentials or certifications.
  • Experience with Planning/Scheduling, PM, PdM, RCA, and CI toolsets.
  • Fluency in Microsoft tools and platforms like Power BI, GEAC, Concur, Workday.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; strong time management.
  • Financial planning, forecasting, and budget management skills.
  • Agile learner and credible teacher.
