The state-of-the-art Downtown Phoenix district cooling system is made up of three plants with 28,000 tons of cooling capacity, 96,000 ton-hrs of thermal storage capacity and over 21,000 trench feet of chilled water distribution system piping. The system supplies cold water to 47 buildings in the downtown area for comfort cooling. Reporting to the Downtown Plant Manager, the Plant Maintenance Lead is responsible to provide ongoing operations and maintenance of the district cooling facilities in downtown Phoenix, while observing and complying with all safety requirements. The primary objective is to lead a team to operate and maintain plant chillers, distribution system, and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in maintenance activities at our cogeneration facility and remote plant locations.
