Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of successful manufacturing experience with at least two years of direct Lean leadership.
  • A demonstrated understanding of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand and Capacity Planning, Single Piece Flow, 5S, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Level Loading, Standard work, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving and IATF 16949
  • Understanding of financial measurements
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

  • Primary resource for leading the Lean transformation through the implementation of the Parker Lean System (PLS).
  • Delivers training to associates in PLS methodology and tools to eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support functions.
  • Measures and reports progress on an on-going basis using the site's Win Scorecard and site's PLS Lean Journey Assessment.
  • Works with Site leadership on Lean implementation strategy.
  • Ensures adherence to PLS standards for the Site, Value Stream, and Team Improvement Boards, enabling a PDCA culture and progression of the Lean Journey.
  • Provides technical and operational recommendations in meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
  • Ensures on-going education of self and all employees at the site in PLS.
  • Leads a Continuous Learning environment.
  • Communicates the status of all Lean efforts to the Division Operations Manager.
  • Facilitates Kaizen Events on a monthly cadence.
  • Manages the planning, execution, and follow-up of Kaizen events.
