About The Position
Performs a variety of assignments pertaining to cleaning duties, also assists crafts people when required. This is a full-time hourly position, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor in Boston, MA. This position is a member of the Bargaining Unit Member of the IUOE, Local 877. The compensation for this position is $36.80 per hour.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Submit to company provided pre-employment physical exam and drug screening
- Possess a valid driver license in good standing in order to operate a company vehicle
- Have and maintain a driving record meeting the standards of the company
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of assignments pertaining to cleaning duties
- Assists crafts people when required
- Uses all hand and power tools to maintain/repair equipment
- Maintains proper lubrication of equipment
- Maintains exterior grounds of plant
- Assists in training other Laborers
- Performs cleaning and housekeeping
- Obtains and delivers materials and supplies
- Drives company vehicles
- Performs utility labor
- Assists others as required
- Performs all other related duties
