To learn more, visit www.sealedair.com. Position Overview Under direction of the Foremen, the PLANT HELPER assists with manufacturing quality products to meet customer demand. The position requires following established operating procedures for operating various equipment and machinery in the paper manufacturing process and required to train for advancement in the line of progression on the equipment. This is a ROTATIONAL SHIFT POSITION. Pay rate: $26.36

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience driving fork lifts
  • Strong work ethic
  • Previous manufacturing experience required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent desired
  • Ability to follow directions required
  • Ability to work safely and follow all policies required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to read, write, and fluently speak English, required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 6 hours per 8-hour shift
  • Ability to walk for up to 6 hours per 8-hour shift
  • Ability to bend, left, and push
  • Self-motivated
  • Works with minimal direction to complete tasks
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

  • Experienced in paper manufacturing desired

Responsibilities

  • Select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing
  • Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations
  • Daily safety inspections
