Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Two (2) years of Information Technology, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite and Power BI
• Two (2) year Information Technology or Technical degree/diploma (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Basic understanding of Manufacturing Optimization tools and Productivity/Yield Metrics
• Data Analytics experience
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team setting
• Strong mathematical, problem solving and logical reasoning skills
• Basic Understanding of engineering principles
• Highly motivated and independent with proven history of technical problem solving
• Knowledge of ISO requirements and quality documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Maintaining current Power BI interactive reports and Power Apps in the 3M Brownwood facility
• Modifying and developing new interactive Power BI reports and Power Apps
• Supporting new product introduction at the Brownwood facility by:
• Providing production support during experiments
• Performing statistical calculations and data analysis, including comparison of test results to establish specifications, identifying variability, root cause analysis and formulating corrective action plans
• Accurately documenting test results, maintaining records, preparing detailed reports, and communicating results
• Support all data acquisition activities within the Brownwood facility
• Complete other duties as assigned or necessary including the willingness to work overtime, occasionally shifting work schedules, and to be on-call
