About The Position

Install and maintain all electrical systems, controls, components & related electrical equipment at Stuttgart Rice Division.

Requirements

• Must have valid drivers license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondences, to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• The employee will be required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and will climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear.
• The employee will occasionally walk or sit and lift/move up to 100 lbs.
• The vision requirements for this job are close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception.
• The environmental conditions of this job require risk of electrical shock, working near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
• The employee will be required to work in wet/humid conditions, work in high, precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat.
• The employee will be required to work from crane baskets, motorized mechanical lifts, forklifts baskets, and other limited access type devices.
• The noise level is loud and hearing protection is required in many areas.
• Utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary is required. PPE may include, but not be limited to, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, steel toe footwear, arc flash protection gear, and electrical rated gloves.

Nice To Haves

• Masters Electrical License and 18 months experience in industrial workplace; or Master s Electrical License and 12 months technical training or education in related field.
