About The Position

Are you the troubleshooter everyone calls? If diagnosing electrical issues on complex manufacturing equipment is your specialty, Motus Integrated Technologies in Battle Creek, MI wants to meet you. Join our Maintenance team and partner with production to keep lines safe, compliant, and running. Department: Maintenance | Reports to: Maintenance Manager Why this role? Do you install and service motors, control panels, lighting, power distribution, and machine wiring with confidence? Can you isolate faults quickly using meters and proven test methods? Are electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams your preferred language? Will you drive preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime? Do you hold yourself to national, state, and local electrical codes—and expect others to do the same? Are you diligent with documentation—repairs, changes, inspections—so teams have what they need? Can you help launch new equipment and support facility electrical upgrades? Do you spot design or process improvements and advocate for them? Will you collaborate with maintenance and production partners to meet plant goals? Do you always follow safety policies, including LOTO and PPE protocols? Are you responsive when emergencies happen, including overtime or on-call needs? What you’ll need to succeed Commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and regulations. Detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery. Overtime is required as an essential function when business needs arise. Valid Journeyman Electrician Card (required). 3–5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience (preferred). Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation (preferred/plus). Fluency in reading electrical drawings and schematics. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a team; strong communication and organization.
