About The Position

The Land Pride Division currently has an opening for a 1st shift Plant Cycle Counter at our Abilene West facility. In this role, you will work to continually improve plant inventory by giving accurate counts, which in turn, improves the ability to meet production demands. The schedule is Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (overtime on Fridays as required) At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our company a great place to work and grow. Nice To Haves

• IBMi (AS400) experience is preferred.
• Inventory control experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows all Great Plains policies and OSHA safety regulations and wears prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Performs daily cycle count on all parts listed on daily report by hand or weight counting.
• Confers with all AB departments, LM and ENT warehouse regarding inventory.
• Enter cycle count results in computer and close out.
• Researches and corrects inventory discrepancies.
• Scans outbound loads for route drivers.
• Follow all Great Plains policies and OSHA safety regulations and wears prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
