About The Position

This is a very exciting opportunity to join ATC at their new state-of-the-art EV battery facility! As a Plant Controller, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of this start-up plant, which is focused on producing electric vehicle batteries. We are looking for a proactive individual who is flexible and eager to make a significant impact in this dynamic environment. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities to support the production line family team's efforts to reduce materials and labor inefficiencies during EV battery rebuilds. You will apply cost accounting and Six Sigma methodologies to determine appropriate steps for further increasing cost savings during transmission rebuilds. In this role, you will prepare and maintain a cost model to determine the actual cost of finished goods on demand, based on the Bill of Materials, actual attrition rate, and pricing. You will also be responsible for preparing cost estimates for new or special products to establish selling prices and production forecasts. Your duties will include routine compilation of parts manufacturing costs for payroll, inventory accountability, distribution of factory labor, verification of actual costs, and computation of variances. You will calculate burden rates and set up expense budgets for manufacturing and service departments, as well as devise, install, or control systems for determining unit costs of products or services. Additionally, you will distribute costs between various divisions of management and production, classify production costs into wages, materials, and overhead, and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions of the MMOG and ISO 14001 systems. You may potentially lead a local accounting team and support the monthly closing process for ATC Holland. Your role will also involve providing cost analysis and financial guidance to the plant management team, as well as supporting and coordinating new business quoting for the plant. Collaboration with the Global Controller on management reports, forecasts, cash management, and AOP preparation will also be part of your responsibilities.
