About The Position

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Plant Controller within the Power Efficiency Solutions Segment based onsite in Lincoln, MO. The Plant Controller position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the plant including reporting, insightful analysis, forecasting and maintaining a robust control environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions. The position reports directly to the Segment Director of Finance Operations and dotted line to the Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities Be the Business Partner for the Plant Manager, participating and providing insightful inputs as part of the plant leadership team and collaborate with operational and functional leaders to identify and resolve operational challenges and drive a best in class production environment Prepare and analyze monthly financial results and KPI Reporting. Provide meaningful insights on variance drivers against prior year and forecasts, and on plant performance that can drive actions to improve business results. Track trends and validate deviations, identify risks and opportunities and drive mitigation actions. Assist in the development of financial plans, budgets and forecasts. Drive cost control and cost reduction through a deep understanding of cost drivers, diligent cost/benefit analysis, granular tracking of cost items and challenging inefficient or overspend. Conduct regular productivity analysis of material and labor costs and recommend improvements that impacts the overall performance of the plant. Maintain accurate product costing records and manage year-end cost roll up of new standards Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions, collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and highlight and mitigate E&O risk Conduct periodic inventory audits to verify accuracy and reduce discrepancies. Prepare annual operational budgets and periodic forecasts ensuring high level of forecasting accuracy and clear, insightful explanation of underlying assumptions and bridge items from comparison periods Ensure compliance of reporting and internal controls with relevant accounting standards, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, Corporate policies and procedures and other regulatory requirements. Conduct periodic control and process audits ensuring adherence across the plant to internal control policies and to manufacturing best practices to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting. Assist Internal and External auditor during plant audits, identifying root causes and remediation plans for control deficiencies, and track implementation status’. Drives all finding and/or process improvement opportunities to timely closures. Responsible for participation with site team members for ensuring SQDC culture and implementation of projects to achieve location goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years’ experience minimum in Global Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Proven ability to be hands on, roll up sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation.
  • Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnord’s 80/20 principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and coach/mentor teams to a higher standard
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence resources outside one’s direct responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Accounting Certification Preferred (ex. CPA, ACA, ACMA)
  • Oracle experience a plus
