About The Position

The Manufacturing Plant Controller will oversee financial activities at a manufacturing facility, focusing on cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to enhance financial performance and support strategic decision-making. This role is crucial for driving financial results in a growing manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's Degree or CPA/CMA preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• ERP System experience, JDE E1 is a plus
• Knowledge of Queries and Connections (PowerQuery) is a plus
• Lean / Six Sigma experience
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting and automated accounting systems

Responsibilities

• Work with Supply Chain on inventory analysis and initiatives and coordination of physical inventory
• Monthly financial close including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and management reporting
• Assist with preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Deployment Plan, and monthly forecasting
• Assist in the preparation of capital spending budgets and forecasts, working with project managers on capital spend tracking and timing, and performing audits of capital projects and existing assets
• Update and publish daily KPI reports
