As the Plant Controller (internally known as Business Manager) for the Maintenance Components Pomona (West Plains) MO High Pressure Hose Facility, part of Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD), you will provide financial leadership with responsibility for operations support, reporting & analysis, planning & forecasting, cost & decision support, compliance and other key financial information & insights. This is an important financial role within the Maintenance Components organization that will work closely both with facility and finance leadership.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree, preferably in accounting
  • 6+ years of varied accounting and/or finance experience
  • Strong cost accounting analytical skills (normals, standard cost, etc.)
  • Manufacturing and component experience
  • Knowledge of accounting systems (SAP/MACH1)

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of monthly financial reporting & analysis and communication with facility leadership
  • Coordinates annual and quarterly financial forecasts for the facility
  • Provides financial leadership and support for capital spend requests and investment analysis
  • Develops and implements tools for analytics to continuously provide analysis and forward-looking insights
  • Ensures high integrity financial reporting through maintaining a strong control environment
  • Coordinates cost accounting activities
  • Participates in facility strategy development to drive improved financial and operation performance
