About The Position

The Plant Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the Remus facility. This position supports production, inventory, purchasing, and maintains accurate plant records, and assists management with reporting and compliance requirements. The Plant Clerk plays a key role in helping the plant operate smoothly, accurately, and safely while supporting the overall goals of the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and courteous communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP or plant management systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify daily production, shipping, and receiving records.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in plant systems, including inventory, and production logs.
  • Assist with purchasing and inventory control, including generating purchase orders, receiving goods, and reconciling invoices.
  • Maintain and organize plant files, reports, and documentation for compliance and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance reports as requested.
  • Coordinate communication between the plant office, production floor, and management team.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, training sessions, and plant events.
  • Provide general office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling correspondence.
  • Perform other clerical or administrative duties as assigned to support plant operations.
