We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Planning Scheduler role. The Planning Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. The timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor is necessary to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Flexcon production processes
  • Ability to learn our production scheduling software (Oracle Fusion).
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate tasks and resources effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing production issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal customers, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A strong collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to create and analyze reports

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient utilization of team members and resources.
  • Provide quick responses to production issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Utilize internal systems and software tools, including Qlik Analyzer and Oracle Fusion, to generate reports and schedules.
  • Coordinate delivery of parts and materials to expedite the flow of material and meet production schedules.
  • Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements and release manufacturing work orders accordingly.
  • Coordinate between warehouse and procurement teams to address material shortages and ensure the timely availability of components.
  • Complete status reports, including production progress, customer information, and materials inventory.
  • Enhance workflow efficiency by synchronizing schedules with due dates, resource availability, and customer requirements, guided by the daily Supply Plan
  • Maintain visual management tools to communicate job status and production timelines
  • Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation requirements to support changes and updates.
  • Support production activities and ensure maximum line uptime by coordinating production orders and resolving issues promptly.
  • Create and execute transform work orders as needed in Oracle Fusion to facilitate production processes.
  • Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned
