The Planning Manager will support the end-to-end frame assortment strategy for their assigned brands, assuring alignment with product vision and financial objectives. This role blends data-driven decision-making with consumer insights to deliver compelling assortments that maximize profitability and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years Product planning, inventory management, product management, or related experience (Required)
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience. Inventory planning, inventory management, product management, business analytics, or related field (Required)
  • Understanding of spectacle frame industry, including frame categories, materials, shapes, and sizes (Required)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with buying and replenishment teams to ensure appropriate products and inventory levels (Required)
  • Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer demographic information to inform planning and inventory decisions (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute merchandise financial plans, open-to-buy (OTB) budgets, and seasonal forecasts.
  • Partner with the buying and merchandising teams to align product assortment and allocation with business strategies.
  • Analyze sales trends, stock levels, and margin performance to inform replenishment and markdown strategies.
  • Advise annual and seasonal assortment planning, including brand mix, architecture, style mix, price point strategy, productivity targets, and lifecycle management, incorporating consumer insights, macro trends, and historical performance.
  • Drive improvements on turns, margin, and rate of sale.
  • Provide ongoing reporting on KPI performance both weekly and monthly in presentations to leadership.
