About The Position

The Planning Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for researching and providing financial and business-related analyses to assess the impact of various projects and initiatives. Analyzes trends, costs and other data related to facilities, master planning, leadership, and budgets. Must be a current student in a recognized college or university program or a recent graduate of less than one year. (Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.) To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment. Provide analytical support for facilities planning, area leadership planning, and facilities management groups in the US Southwest area. Complete detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports, and recommends action or change. Prepare planning forecasts and analyzes trends, general business conditions, and other business-related areas. Create reports & presentations, analyzes data, attends meetings, etc. Create queries and provides data to customers in an understandable format. Work cross-functionally with area leadership and employees. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a current student in a recognized college or university program or a recent graduate of less than one year.
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
  • Ability to analyze data, discover trends, and determine solutions based on findings.
  • Must be able to keep confidences and deal with sensitive data and documents appropriately
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong communication (verbal and documentation), teamwork skills, presentation techniques and skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized with demonstrated ability to work multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in MS office suite, and advanced Excel experience.
