About The Position
Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning students to join our Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office! This is not a remote position.
Requirements
- In the process of receiving a Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program in one of the following majors:
- Aviation Management
- City and Regional Planning
- Urban Planning
- Transportation Planning
- Or Other Related Major
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with state agencies to identify aviation system needs and make project recommendations for airport improvements.
- Create state aviation system plans and conduct airport economic impact studies
- Conduct desktop research, analyze data, and synthesize findings in technical reports and other deliverables.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for future aviation investment.
- Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
- Prepare airport planning, economic impact, and other studies.
