This position reports to: Front End Operations and Order Management Leader __ JOB PROFILE SUMMARY Leads supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Drives planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time, ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plan. Onsite Richmond, VA (#LI-Onsite)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering (Industrial preferred) with 5+ years of experience in materials planning, sourcing, or logistics, including people management.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (especially SAP), with APICS/ISM or equivalent supply chain certifications preferred.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Power BI and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in budget and performance management, strategy implementation, inventory management, logistics, order fulfillment, and resource/capacity planning.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the site supply planning process and provides visibility of supply capacity and objectives within the S&OP process, including feedback on the site’s ability to support the demand plan.
  • Manages the inventory and Net Working Capital (NWC) checkbook, ensuring optimal inventory levels, conducting periodic reviews, and maintaining inventory management processes for finished goods in line with company guidelines.
  • Leads the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) short-term planning process, ensuring alignment between planning and execution and coordinating responses to unplanned events.
  • Supports the profitable execution of customer orders by collaborating with business functions and supply units, and leading discussions on inbound issues, planning parameters, and reverse logistics.
  • Drives continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives to enhance on-time delivery, lead time, inventory optimization, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy while applying Lean Six Sigma and supporting best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.
