About The Position

Responsible for scheduling sales orders to meet customer demand or fit within the capacity of the production operations.
Releasing and monitoring production orders, ensuring required materials are available to the production floor, according to the production schedule. Release sales orders and customer shipments to production for the daily shipping schedule.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; 4-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and safety practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to include collecting and analyzing data resulting in fiscally responsible decisions.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills both written and verbal to various audiences and all levels of management.
• Be able to work with all team members within the organization to achieve positive results.
• Must be able to multi-task, have great organizational skills and a superior attention to detail.
• Must be high-performance with a dedicated work ethic in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinates production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.
• Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality at assigned work location
• Input shipping and delivery date information.
• Evaluate MRP and PRP demand with supply chain and production through releasing of jobs and communicating material shortages.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
• Evaluation of various supermarkets/kanban.
• Procure materials and components as needed to support customer demand and special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
