Summary: This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of planning with warehouse operations, including forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling both planning and warehouse tasks efficiently and independently.

Requirements

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)
ERP Software (M3 preferred)
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Prior experience with inventory control and optimization
Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar planning role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in both planning and warehouse tasks.
Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift desirable
Familiarity with safety regulations related to forklift operation.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 20 lbs.
Superior attention to detail
High school Diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience

Responsibilities

Generate and maintain work orders in coordination with purchasing and assembly
Manage shortage reports and communicate internally
Evaluate demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly.
Assist in developing and implementing inventory control strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and organize products in the warehouse.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for outbound shipments.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
