About The Position

The Production Planner will be responsible for planning the production of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems. The preferred candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented team player who performs effectively in both business planning and production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and balance competing priorities
• Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve in complex and ambiguous situations
• Experience working with MS Office suite
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, parts lists, bill-of-materials (BOM) and production routings

Nice To Haves

• Relative production planning or relative experience preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of aircraft, systems and parts preferred

Responsibilities

• Generating, monitoring, and expediting production schedules
• Coordinating supply chain, inventory, and production activity
• Vetting MRP-generated production orders
• Identifying and mitigating production order material shortages/challenges
• Planning production routing, sequencing, and methods
• Executing planned production orders
• Managing production order revisions
• Preparing, evaluating and disseminating metrics, reports, procedures, and documents
• Prepare data reviews and present findings
• Present and lead weekly GEMBA meetings
• Other duties as assigned
