About The Position

As a Senior Planner, Outage and Maintenance you will implement maintenance plans to use plant resources (labor, materials, tools, and parts). The Planner assists in the continuous improvement of the Leading2Lean CMMS program. The planner helps produce reliable plant capacity, including the reduction in machine downtime and maintenance costs by providing accurate work plans ready for implementation. The planner assists the Maintenance department to build technical and system capability throughout the organization. You will report to the Manager of Outage and Maintenance and be located at Ogden, UT. You will support the role 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of maintenance craft, planning, or other applicable experience.
  • Maintenance Craft Experience, MS Office, Expertise & proficiency with basic computer software and how to use maintenance software to input data and research parts, Procurement, Project Management.
  • Understand electrical diagrams.
  • Understand complex piping diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Review, prioritize, schedule and close corrective work orders.
  • Modify existing or develop new Preventative and Predictive Maintenance tasks.
  • Review weekly backlog data for assigned area(s) of responsibility and conduct meetings to discuss.
  • Meet with electrical, mechanical and production owners for jobs that must be planned.
  • Input weekly, down day, and annual outage schedules into Microsoft programs
  • Use planning tools to determine parts, materials, rental equipment and contractor support we need to perform jobs.
  • Coordinate parts/rentals/contractor needs and submit requisitions.
  • Develop/update Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment.
  • Submit Major Expense Project (MEP) request for parts or contractor services.
  • Develop Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) containing details to perform job and field validate procedure.
  • Complete parts received verification.
  • Ensure job parts are kitted.
  • Ensure contractors are notified of safety training requirements before arrival on site.
  • Follow up with contractors to ensure they received a Purchase Order, before their expected arrival on site.
  • Review work orders for parts used, before closing work orders.
  • Lead improvement opportunities/projects.
  • Use OSB Asset Maintenance Workflow Process
  • Collaborate with differing groups across the plant including engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors and management.
  • Drive forklift and other mobile equipment
