The DNREC Conservation Programs Section serves as a liaison between DNREC and the state's three Conservation Districts and it administers a number of programs related to water quality protection, drainage, and sediment and stormwater management. This position is responsible for advanced planning, research, and analysis in support of State efforts to mitigate impacts of nonpoint source pollution by implementing water quality best management practices and effective outreach and education initiatives. Position will use analytical abilities to interpret and communicate complex information in support of planning and policy development. Work involves leading projects, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and providing technical guidance on data-driven planning efforts.
