Implements production methods and procedures to manufacture a variety of production quantities from various materials at competitive cost. Provides technical shop floor support e.g. in the areas of machining, programming, fabrication and assembly. Maintains and develops demanding production activities to achieve safety and quality standards, schedules, and maximum utilization. Manage Planning and Scheduling departmental functions including Purchasing, MRP scheduling, Inventory, Shipping and Receiving coordination. Determine manufacturing schedule, release of materials and direct labor jobs to meet machine and machine component demands for Huhtamaki customers and all internal facilities. Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, on time and complete. Evaluate all procedures and implement streamlined and effective methods that capture all expenditures within direct labor jobs. Responsibilities
