This role offers a significant opportunity to influence our organization by collaborating with Scheduling, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Information Systems departments. You will play a key part in reaching our Annual Business and Quality Plans. Your efforts are essential to achieving targeted results and sustaining top-tier customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Related experience required.
  • Proven ability to schedule and prioritize tasks for self and others, manage multiple activities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and be appropriately assertive and persuasive.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a complex organizational structure.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and warehousing is essential.
  • Develop overall business insight and respond effectively to global business issues.
  • Key behavioral characteristics include self-motivation, foresight, effective follow-up, self-reliance, patience, and responsibility.
  • Develop basic technical knowledge to support various systems efforts and improvements (e.g., J.D. Edwards, Rapid Response).
  • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends.
  • Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required.
  • Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Meet established RM and WIP cash flow inventory dollar goals.
  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule in collaboration with Operations to ensure timely delivery and improve equipment and labor utilization.
  • Achieve Production-to-Schedule requirements to support customer service level targets.
  • Support Business/Quality Plans for responsible departments, including conversion loss, labor efficiency, overtime, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with divisions/plants to secure requirements and review changes to plans.
  • Secure material/service deliveries from approved suppliers to meet our quality, cost, and receipt date requirements.
  • Provide distribution/logistical services of our products both internally and externally through the Warehouse and Inventory Control functions.
