About The Position

Responsible for overall accuracy and timeliness of the Material flow based on the MPS/DTS demand.

Requirements

  • 2 years Associates Degree
  • 5 years’ experience in relevant materials, operations and/or supply chain may be substituted for education
  • Must be a quality-oriented team player, with proficient time management skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production planning.
  • Skilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, and Word.
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Creates appropriate documentation to review material deliveries and monitor the supply chain.
  • May create purchase requisitions Create and maintain work orders.
  • Executes WIP cycle counts.
  • Monitor and expedite incoming materials and material shortage/replenishment.
  • Maintains manufacturing build plans on a daily basis (ERP Workbench validation).
  • Ensures disposition of scrap/obsolete material.
  • Execute flow of non-conforming material and manufacturing material requirements.
  • Based on the MPS/DTS driven demand, selects and sequences available jobs to be run at specific workstations or machines.
  • Work with the team to improve current system, functions, and daily operations to more effectively meet goals.
  • May monitor shipping performance to DTS and ensure movement of product from production through packaging to shipping.
  • Maintains manufacturing build plans on a daily basis (ERP Workbench validation).
  • Creates and maintains the expected completion of each scheduled job.
  • Reviews the schedule and ensures the raw materials are available when needed to run according to the schedule.
  • Ensures all outside services are planned and monitored.
  • Consolidate demand, releases and monitors placement cycle times for purchase requisitions.
  • Highlights critical parts which may keep operations from meeting the MPS/DTS.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to establish and evolve a stable manufacturing schedule.
  • Participate in CCB and provide recommended effective cut-in dates.
  • Maintain system critical Data Elements.
  • Monitor and expedite the flow of Non-Conforming materials.
  • Validate and ensure data integrity.
  • Timely and accurate communication of schedule information to other support functions.
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
