SUMMARY: Role and Activity Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and food industry standards. Coordinate and prioritize work orders, ensuring necessary materials, tools, and labor are available. Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed. Work with the maintenance team to troubleshoot breakdowns and schedule corrective maintenance. Track and analyze equipment performance metrics to optimize reliability. Project Coordination: Plan and manage capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Ensure all projects comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, OSHA). Maintain documentation for all projects, including budgets, schedules, and risk assessments. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality, and safety teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals. Train and support maintenance staff on new equipment and procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance factory efficiency and reduce downtime. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance planning and/or project coordination, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and project management tools.
  • Understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems used in ice cream production.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
