About The Position
The Planner focuses on expediting and optimization of mail or freight for air transportation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
- Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process is required for this location.
Responsibilities
- Plan outbound mail for outbound flights
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of mail
- Monitor scanning efficiency
- Communicate with Airline personnel
- Retrieve and enter information from customer and QAS computer-based systems
