About The Position

Are you looking to work with industry leading machinery and equipment? (Entry Level Position) Come join our team of Planned Maintenance Support Technicians! We are expanding our Maintenance Department and looking to add technicians to our De Pere team. This is an entry level position in performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities within the maintenance department. The main responsibility of the position is to perform all preventive and predictive maintenance activities within the company. Hours: 5:00AM - 3:00PM Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday depending on department needs; once determined days will remain fixed Occasional overtime as needed

Knowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluently.
Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow implicit and explicit written or oral instructions.
Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school with additional experience in mechanical and or electrical work but not required.
Requires nearly constant concentration along with attention detail.
Ability to use hands for 100% of work time (e.g. wrenches, screw drivers, drills, etc.); and reach above shoulders for 25% of work time.
Ability to: stand and walk for 75% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 25% of work time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of less 30% of work time, up to 50 pounds or less 15% of work time and up to 75 pounds or less 15% of work time.
Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less, or 20 feet or more and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
May lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
Perform planned maintenance of all company equipment and fixtures according to the set schedule within the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Responsible for completing all routine maintenance inspections on various equipment to ensure proper operation.
Required to receive instructions and follow procedures set forth by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and outlined by the department.
Perform shop related maintenance needs to ensure timely attention to repair or task needs.
May be required to assist and carry out task requirements within the Project team.
Responsible for the appearance of the maintenance shops, mezzanines, compressor rooms, electrical rooms and maintenance work sites.
Participate in open communication within the maintenance department.
May perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Department Supervisor/Development Coordinator.
