This position is responsible for:Responsible for managing and participating in the administration and project management of key planned giving resources in the Southern Territory to support the interpretation and administration of planned giving donor programs, including new business development, field documentation, and training. Responsible for program management to support the Territorial and Division planned giving functions. Provides guidance and approval of all completed gift agreement reports and leadership reporting. Ensure all duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with established procedures, policies, and regulations. Supervises the Planned Giving Coordinator's work to ensure all required duties are completed in this area. Key Responsibilities: Serves as primary liaison with external vendors and internal colleagues in a high-quality, high-volume, time-critical environment; implements efficient processes in partnership with the Territorial Director and vendors to help increase the quality and quantity of gift planning leads across the Divisions. Develops and participates in training new staff on specific functions, including gift proposals, applications, processing, and policies. Provides training and insight in collaboration with OOI to staff on all applicable Territorial programs in which The Salvation Army serves as fiduciary Manages and oversees workflow, including (but not limited to) communication with the Finance Department on the appropriate accounting and reporting for gift designations to support planned gifts, endowments, and Division grant allocations. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Legal, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, AND Five (5) years of progressively responsible nonprofit experience, with experience in Planned Giving preferred, and one (1) year of supervisory experience. AND Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
