About the Role The Planned Giving Manager is a member of the WHYY advancement team who cultivates and manages all aspects of the planned giving program, including developing the strategy for the planned giving donor pipeline, organizing and creating a strategy for marketing planned gifts, and managing the estate administration process. The individual is responsible for managing the Planned Giving and Mid-Level Officer position. The Planned Giving Manager will develop and implement plans for securing major gifts and deferred gifts from donors through estate planning, charitable gift annuities, IRAs, and other types of gifts. Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and senior executive staff, this position will develop and position planned giving as a critical component to WHYY’s strategic fundraising plan.
