About The Position
A busy downtown Buffalo firm seeks a seasoned Paralegal to manage files from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of paralegal/legal assistant experience and should be ready to hit the ground running.
Requirements
- 5+ years of paralegal/legal assistant experience
Responsibilities
- Manage PI cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents
- Obtain, review, and summarize medical records and case materials
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and medical providers
- Track deadlines, maintain files, and assist with trial preparation
- Perform e-filing via NYSCEF, PACER, and Surrogate`s Court
