This position is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for both existing and newly hired Claims personnel based on their current job duties and performance expectations. This role provides instruction across general claims processes, systems and application usage, product knowledge and end to end claim adjudication. The Claims Trainer also develops, maintains and updates the centralized claims training documentation library. Training supports claims handled both in the United States and Canada. What You’ll Do: Acts as the liaison between Claims and company initiatives/projects by ensuring all parties are aware of timeframes, limitations, expectations, etc. Provides training on all aspects of claim handling. Training includes the following applications, Zing, GW Claim Center, Policy Center, ImageRight, SmartComm, NICE, Sovos/Taxport, Allied Universal, Polygon, Rapnet, IDEX and ISO Claim Search. For new hires conduct weekly file and phone audits for quality and consistency. Audits will be maintained in NICE under the nesting phase until the claim examiner has completed training. Share progress of each trainee with Claims Managers at regularly scheduled meetings Anticipate upcoming changes, identify required training, assess timing, and provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements. Must be able to maintain working relationships internally with Claims Leadership, Underwriting, Marketing, and Loss Prevention. Must be able to maintain working relationships externally with Jewelers, adjusters, and attorneys. Provides backup support as a Claims Examiner, as needed.
