Requirements

  • English
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a pizza cook.
  • Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza dough
  • Good time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evening

  • A minimum, of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen personnel.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time and lift 50 lbs.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Must be available days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality pizzas.
  • Handle multiple food orders at one time.
  • Ability to manage others and work on a team.
  • Put pizzas in the oven and keep a check on the fire.
  • Replace cheeses, sauce, and toppings containers to ensure freshness.
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing meals.
  • Set up workstations and ingredients so food can be prepared according to recipes.
  • Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area in all areas of the prep kitchen.
