About The Position

We are dedicated to providing Max's Lakeside and Swing Bar team the support and leadership needed to create spectacular team member AND guest experiences. We have 2 outlets- Max's Lakeside featuring an Italian inspired pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches as well as our Swing Bar where we will offer a full outdoor bar experience. We will be open 7 days a week during season for both lunch and dinner. Requirements

  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Must maintain a clean work station from ceiling to floor
  • Ability to work long hours on feet during peek periods
  • Must have flexible availability
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Customer and Personal Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Food Production Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and harvesting food products (both plant and animal) for consumption, including storage/handling techniques.
  • Production and Processing Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Near Vision The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Oral Comprehension The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Problem Sensitivity The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing that there is a problem.
  • Speech Clarity The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
  • Speech Recognition The ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.

Nice To Haves

  • Pizza Making experience is not a must but very helpful

Responsibilities

  • Prepare breads or doughs
  • Prep all ingredients for our scratch kitchen
  • Properly store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas
  • Equipped with proper uniform and hygiene standards
  • Able to manage multiple simultaneous processes - Dough making, ingredient preparation to cooking pizza in coal oven
  • Maintain food, beverage, or equipment inventories
  • Prepare both cold and hot foods for service
  • Coordinate timing of food production activities
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
