About The Position

As a Pizza Cook you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas according to our established recipes and procedures. Your role involves ensuring that each pizza is made with precision, attention to detail, and meets our standards of flavor and presentation. You will work closely with the Sandcastles kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient pizza production process.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills and multi-tasking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge skills, and abilities.
Florida Sanitation Certificate and the ability to obtain any government required license or other certificates.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of pizza making techniques, dough preparation, and pizza oven operation or similar role in fast paced kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepares pizza, dough, sauces, and toppings according to the established recipes and Hilton Standards ensuring the pizza is visually appealing and delicious.
Operates pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment effectively.
Monitors cooking times and temperatures to ensure the pizzas are cooked to perfection.
Inspects ingredients for freshness and quality while maintaining consistency with our taste standards.
Monitors and restocks pizza ingredients as needed while collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain inventory levels and report any shortages or quality issues.
Maintains a clean and organized workstation at all times and assists with general cleaning duties, as assigned.
Follows proper food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
Works collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Communicates effectively with the team to coordinate pizza orders and delivery times.
