About The Position

Bacco Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is our signature Italian dining destination, celebrated for authentic cuisine, artisanal ingredients, and exceptional service. The Pizza Cook specializes in the preparation of pizzas and related menu items, ensuring that every dish meets Bacco’s high culinary standards. This role supports smooth kitchen operations and contributes to a consistent, high-quality guest dining experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, culinary school, or equivalent professional culinary experience.
  • Minimum of one to two years of culinary experience, preferably in pizza or Italian cuisine preparation.
  • Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, dough handling, oven operation, and topping preparation.
  • Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and proper storage practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively as part of a culinary team.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pizzas, doughs, sauces, and toppings according to recipes, production standards, and guest orders.
  • Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining proper cooking times and temperatures.
  • Complete mise en place and set up the pizza station for lunch and dinner service.
  • Ensure all ingredients are prepped, properly stored, and rotated according to food safety standards.
  • Monitor portion control, presentation, and quality of all pizza dishes before service.
  • Assist with prep work for sauces, toppings, and accompaniments as required for upcoming shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, kitchen, and equipment at all times.
  • Control food waste, loss, and usage in accordance with kitchen policies.
  • Comply fully with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
