About The Position

Purpose Your role will be to deliver effective, client-focused pitch materials by leveraging industry sector, best practices, and advanced tools. You will ensure pitches are competitive, meet deadlines, and align with client objectives, while also providing strategic feedback and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Project-manage high-priority and strategic matter and panel pitches by ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and timely progress throughout the process. Tailor pitch documentation and content; taking into account client requirements, our client relationship, and firm capabilities. Direct and contribute to qualification discussions, ensuring pitch alignment with firm strategy and optimal resource deployment via ‘go/no-go’ decision. Ensure all pitch outcomes associated with opportunities owned by the U.S. strategic pitch team and associated key data points are captured, tracked, and reported accurately in Salesforce. Foster relationships with key departments including Risk, Billing, Pricing, IT, Linklaters Global Services (LGS), HR, and Talent and Engagement. Promote best practices by sharing successful pitch strategies, templates, and case studies across teams to standardize the pitch process. Offer strategic recommendations to senior leadership on pitch outcomes, trends, and process improvements. Design and support internal pitch training for BDM and legal teams, design sessions tailored to audience needs, and collaborate with local champions to support effective onboarding. Foster strong relationships with BDM LGS Pitching Hub and contribute to the development and upskilling of the team. Champion and participate in pitch debriefs and client feedback sessions, working with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to document lessons learned, upskill teams, and continually refine pitch processes. Pilot best uses for AI with Strategic Pitch Senior Manager, focusing on automation and dynamic digital content creation. Experience & Qualifications Considerable experience in developing client-focused pitch materials, preferably in a legal or professional services environment. Track record of reviewing pitch performance and implementing continuous improvement processes. Experience using pitch-related tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Previous experience with MarTech tools, such as Salesforce. Strong project management skills with ability to deliver pitches within deadline constraints. Proven ability to develop compelling value propositions aligned with client needs. Experience providing strategic recommendations based on pitch outcomes and trends. Skills in adapting templates and existing materials to meet specific client requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments. The base salary range offered for this role will be between $110,000 and $150,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the firm. The total compensation package for this position may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
